The Kick-off day at the beginning of a new study year has become a nice tradition at the Wildau Institute of Technology (WIT). Since it is a wonderful opportunity for our new students to get to know each other better, and also the WIT team, our institute and the campus. This academic year, Professor Hotes welcomed six new students from Germany studying Business Administration (MBA) and 17 new students from Marokko, Turkey, India, Pakistan, the Iran, the Ukraine and Germany studying Aviation Management (AVIMA) at the WIT.
By introducing themselves our new students demonstrated a great and impressive variety of geographical, educational and professional backgrounds. After that, the WIT team introduced the students to administrative issues as well as study and examination regulations. Further on the students were introduced to the IT infrastructure on the campus, went on a tour at the high-tech library of the Technical University of Applied Sciences Wildau given by the head of the library, Frank Seeliger, and took part in a campus tour guided by Slava Obodzinskiy. The introduction day full of exciting new impressions culminated in an informal reception in the students‘ club „Stuk“.
Ahead of our new students lie two years of intensive study, inspiring courses and fruitful team work. We wish our students a lot of new insights and much success in their interesting and challenging study programmes.
