It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our esteemed colleague and dear friend, Viatcheslav „Slava“ Obodzinskiy. Slava left us unexpectedly, leaving a void in our hearts and in our team at the Wildau Institute of Technology.
Joining the WIT team in 2016, Slava dedicated six remarkable years to our institute and contributed immensely until 2022. At the young age of 35, he was a beacon of knowledge, creativity and camaraderie.
Slava was not only an exceptional professional, but also a cherished friend to many. His infectious enthusiasm, warm smile and genuine kindness lifted everyone around him. His ability to light up a room with his humour and warmth made him a beloved figure on campus.
Slava’s presence, insights and friendship will be deeply missed. Our thoughts are with his family and loved ones at this difficult time. We share their grief and offer our deepest condolences.
