Study Start 2021

Your studies will start as planned in Autumn 2021. The winter semester 2020/2021 (study start: October 2020) will be conducted online. Our students will be able to attend all lectures and seminars from home. Since end-March 2020 all the lectures at Wildau Institute of Technology take place using modern IT and e-learning technologies. Due to the close cooperation with TH Wildau, the institute benefits from its excellent IT infrastructure. We are working with video conferencing software (Webex Meetings, Big Blue Button) which makes it possible to establish direct communication, work with presentations and whiteboards, organize group work and other activities. Also, we are actively using the learning management system Moodle for sharing additional and self-study material and organizing the communication outside the webinars. Students and lecturers involved are constantly receiving the necessary technical support.

Therefore, we are able to guarantee our students the best study experience, even under these unusual circumstances. We still recommend applying for our study programmes if you are interested since our study formats have not lost their value and work really well online – both technically and in terms of e-didactics. Wildau Institute of Technology is very well prepared for the impact of COVID-19 on the teaching and operations of the institute.

This being said, we are looking forward to returning to classroom teaching. We hope that we will be able to offer our lectures at our campus in Wildau as soon as possible, preferably in the summer semester 2022.
