Civil Aviation for Pilots (part-time)

Bachelor of Arts - In March 2010 a new WIT programme especially designed for airline pilots will be available!

This unique programme for a Bachelor of Arts (Civil Aviation) – CAP - gives airline pilots the option to gain an academic degree without interrupting their career. It was developed by airline management experts, university teachers and experienced flight captains to generate maximum professional benefit.

The courses focus on business administration subjects with a special concentration on transport economics and logistics, they will enable students to understand and discuss all management issues relevant in a competitive airline environment. Successful participants are well qualified for taking over responsibility in their company for example in a postholder function, as a planning manager or a fleet captain. The degree can also be used as a stepping stone for further studies in a master or MBA programme for those seeing their future on top executive level.

Target Group

The programme is designed for ATPL (or MPL) qualified pilots in active flight duty with an airline or business jet operator.
